Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our commitment to accessibility
The MakePodcast service (the "Service") is committed to making its website and Service usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We treat accessibility as part of the product and work to improve it continuously.
2. Conformance target
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
3. Measures we take
To support accessibility, the measures we take include:
- Using semantic HTML and a logical heading structure.
- Supporting full keyboard navigation.
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and background.
- Providing alternative text (alt) for meaningful images.
- Adding ARIA on interactive components and focus states.
- Supporting RTL in Hebrew and LTR in English.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts may not be fully accessible. In particular, user-generated video content does not always include captions. We are improving accessibility on an ongoing basis and fix issues that are brought to our attention.
5. Reporting an accessibility problem
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the site or in the Service, we want to hear about it. Contact us by email at team@makepodcast.app. Please tell us the page, the nature of the problem, and the browser you used, and we will aim to respond within a reasonable time.
